La toronja y el jugo de toronja pueden tener interacciones con diazePAM y conducir potencialmente peligrosos efectos secundarios. Discutir el uso de productos de toronja con su médico. No aumente o disminuya la cantidad de productos de toronja en su dieta sin consultar primero a su médico. No beba alcohol mientras toma este medicamento. Este medicamento puede aumentar los efectos del alcohol. Usted puede sentir más somnoliento, mareado o cansado, si tomar diazePAM con alcohol. En GENERAL, EVITAR: Aguda ingestión de alcohol puede potenciar la depresión del SNC y otros SNC efectos de muchas de las benzodiazepinas. Pueden desarrollar tolerancia a la crónica de etanol uso. El mecanismo puede ser la disminución del aclaramiento de las benzodiacepinas, porque de CYP450 la inhibición de la enzima hepática. También, se ha sugerido que los déficits cognitivos inducidos por benzodiazepinas puede ser mayor en los pacientes que crónicamente consumen grandes cantidades de alcohol.
